About Rohr Family Law
Rachel Rohr is a dedicated family lawyer Oshawa clients rely on, having practised exclusively in family law throughout her legal career.
Family law is more than a job for Rachel — it’s a way to support people through some of the hardest chapters of their lives, whether that means planning ahead or helping a family find its new normal. She works across parenting, asset division, and support matters, and is equally prepared to negotiate a resolution outside court or to litigate when that’s what a case needs. Rachel doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; every strategy is built around the client in front of her.
Rachel articled and summered with family law practices in Toronto, both large and small. She earned her J.D. from the University of Windsor and was called to the Bar of Ontario in March 2021. Before law school, she spent several years as a law clerk to Mr. Barry Carmichael. She has also been published in the Journal of Canadian Studies and co-authored an annotated statute.
Outside the practice of family law, Rachel has a keen interest in human rights and tax law. Away from the office, you’ll usually find her with her daughter, walking her two corgis, or baking.
